Is Your Request Urgent? If this is a memorial for a recently departed loved one or companion, or if you have an upcoming, non-negotiable date, please let me know right away at the top of your message. I always reserve a few quiet, compassionate slots on my easel each season specifically for urgent tributes, and I will do my absolute best to accommodate your timeline.

Here are some prompts depending on what we are creating together:

  • For Pet Portraits: Tell me about their personality. Are they quiet and regal, or playful and mischievous? What are their quirky habits? Is there a favorite toy, a specific expression, or a look in their eyes that is unmistakably them?

  • For People Portraits: What defines their character? Is there a specific smile, a characteristic tilt of the head, or a warm expression that you cherish? Sharing a bit about your relationship with them helps me paint with greater empathy.

  • For Bespoke Landscapes: Why does this place matter to you? Is it a family home, a favorite vacation spot, or a quiet corner of the world where you feel at peace? Tell me about your favorite season there, the time of day you love most, and the feelings the landscape evokes.

What's next?

Once you submit your application, here is what you can expect:

  • Look for Your Welcome Email: Within a few minutes of submitting, you will receive an automated email from my studio. This email officially confirms your secure place on my chronological waitlist and lets you know I've received your story.

​

  • A Little Homework (The Fun Part): Inside that confirmation email, you’ll find a few helpful suggestions to prepare for our upcoming collaboration. It will guide you through picking the perfect reference photographs, capturing the best natural lighting, and beginning to think about how the finished piece will fit into your home.

​

  • Personal Outreach: I personally review every single waitlist application. As we approach your seasonal slot, I will reach out to you directly via email to look over your photos, discuss layout options, and talk about sizes and framing so we can begin the exciting work of bringing your vision to life.
